GSSB: THE RISING DEBATERS OF EAST AFRICA
Dear reader,
We have been telling you of the great debating culture here. You already know that our debating club shines like a diamond (in the sky). That is very true, because we keep shining and shining again.
On 23rd may 2015, we participated in the largest debating competition in the East African region – the East African Debate Championship that was held at Lycee de Kigali. It was a serious competition and all those who appeared were aflame with brilliant ideas.
This didn’t affect our good form. We were among the stars of the show and were ranked among the best twenty schools in the region. That is not a small achievement.
We defeated all the schools from Uganda and Kenya and we are among your best. Pulling off a performance better than that of St.Mary’s Namagunga and Kisubi High school among others isn’t a simple achievement.
These are academic giants in their countries. That’s how far we are rising and shining in East Africa.
